January is better with some magic & sparkle.
Who remembers the M&S “Magic & Sparkle” TV campaign a few years back. Two hardworking festive fairies whose mission it was to spread seasonal kindness and evoke magic and sparkle across the nation.
2014 was a busy year, Sainsbury’s brought us the 1914 WW2 truce “Christmas is for sharing” where British and German soldiers came together to play football. And of course, who can forget John Lewis melting the nation’s heart with “Monty the Penguin”. Didn’t we love him.
We all need a bit of Magic & Sparkle and why should it be limited to December. The decorations and twinkly lights might all be packed away, but we have a New Year to celebrate.
A fresh start. A clean sheet.
It’s time we break out of our cosy socks, pack away the leftover chocolates, put on our positive pants, and get out there.
Mingle for Business is a brilliant network for newbies and those a big longer in the business game. None of us can work alone. We need the support and encouragement of other business folk who share the same experiences as us, deal with the same problems as us, and are heading towards the same tax deadline as us!
Mingle for Business will be creating some magic and sparkle on Wednesday 24 January at the Cricket Club in Rhos on Sea. You’ll need to book your place on the website and get there for 5.30pm.
We’ll guarantee you a warm welcome, a hot cup of coffee and something to nibble, and a bunch of like-minded business folk to get to know.
We’re all sole traders or small businesses at Mingle, meeting together to create a useful accessible community. If you’ve never done business networking before why not give it a try.
And you’ll never guess what, we’re starting the year with a good dose of magic and sparkle and a sprinkling of wizardry with North Wales magician Jay Gatling.
Jay started learning magic tricks at 10 and has been developing his skills ever since. He was discovered almost 10 years ago, launching his professional career in a classic seaside variety show where he performed for six years. More recently he has travelled around the UK with his partner Sarah and their act “Elemental” winning national awards.
But it’s not just magic – Jay is also a trained swordsman. I know – it’s all going a bit “Game of Thrones”. He performs around the country with his sparking partner in their theatre duo Two the Hilt.
So for something a bit different, book your place today and we look forward to seeing you.
